Eligibility Criteria

Essential Qualifications

Candidates must possess one of the following full-time qualifications from recognized institutions:

  • MBBS from a recognized medical institute
  • Master of Public Health (MPH) from a recognized institute
  • Master in Health Management from a recognized institute

All qualifications should be obtained from recognized boards or universities and must be completed as full-time courses.

Experience Requirements

The candidate should have at least 1 year of relevant experience in the related discipline. This experience must be acquired after completing the minimum educational qualification.

Desirable Skills & Knowledge

  • Working knowledge of biostatistics
  • Experience with statistical software packages such as Epi Info, SPSS, or similar

Job Profile – Roles & Responsibilities

The selected Research Officer will be primarily involved in the following activities:

Field Visits & Travel

Conduct extensive field visits for conducting public health research and epidemiological surveillance activities. The candidate will undertake travel across Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan as per project requirements, covering all districts designated in the project plan.

Data Collection & Analysis

Assist in gathering data related to HIV surveillance, support in data compilation, entry, and analysis. The candidate will work closely with epidemiologists and data analysts to support surveillance activities under NACP.

Field Investigations & Documentation

Support in conducting field investigations following project guidelines, maintaining detailed records and documentation of surveillance activities, and ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality.

Participation in Public Health Activities

Engage in activities related to HIV epidemiology, contribute to public health interventions, and support the overall surveillance effort aimed at controlling and preventing HIV/AIDS in the designated regions.
