Eligibility Criteria for Different Positions
Professor
The candidate should fulfill at least one of the following options:
- Option A: An eminent scholar with a Ph.D., minimum of 10 research publications in UGC-listed peer-reviewed journals, a research score of 120 as per UGC Regulations-2018, and a minimum of 10 years of teaching/research experience. Evidence of guiding doctoral candidates required.
- Option B: An outstanding professional with a Ph.D. in a relevant discipline, significant contribution to the field, with 10 years of professional experience (industry or academia).
Associate Professor
Must have:
- Ph.D. in concerned field with a good academic record
- Minimum 8 years of teaching/research experience
- At least 7 publications in peer-reviewed journals and a research score of 75
Assistant Professor
Eligible if the candidate has:
- Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks in relevant discipline
- Cleared NET/SLET/SET OR Ph.D. (as per regulations)
- If Ph.D. is obtained from top 500 ranked university (QS, THE, ARWU), NET/SLET/SET exemption may apply
Deputy Librarian & Assistant Librarian
