Eligibility Criteria for Applicants
Educational Qualifications
Candidates must possess an engineering degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Electrical & Electronics, Power Electronics, or Instrumentation from a recognized government university or institute, with a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate.
Experience Requirements
– Senior Manager: Minimum 8 years post-qualification experience, with at least 2 years in the E-3 or L-10 grade, working in areas related to EMU rolling stock, design, testing, operation, and maintenance.
– Manager: Minimum 8 years experience, with 2 years in E-2 or L-8 grade, in similar domains.
– Project Engineer: At least 2 years post-qualification experience in relevant railway systems and rolling stock.
Desirable Skills
Prior exposure to EMU rolling stock projects, experience with design specifications, bid preparation, testing, and maintenance in Railways, RRTS, Metro, LRT, HSR, or suburban rail systems will be advantageous.

Selection Process
The selection process involves multiple stages designed to assess the candidate’s eligibility, skills, and suitability for the role:
- Preliminary Screening: Initial review of applications based on eligibility, experience, and educational qualifications.
- Document Verification: Eligible candidates will be called for verification of original documents, certificates, and experience proof.
- Interview: Candidates will be interviewed by a nominated expert panel. The final selection will be based on the merit of the interview, qualifications, and experience.
The organization may call for five times the notified vacancies for document verification if applications are received in large numbers, selecting candidates based on their marks and experience.
Contract Terms & Conditions
This recruitment is on a contractual basis for a period of five years. Post-appointment, candidates will not be absorbed into MRVC’s permanent establishment, and no claim for regular employment will be entertained. Candidates must agree to attend emergency duties and adhere to company policies during their service.
MRVC reserves the right to terminate the contract with a one-month notice or payment in lieu thereof if found unsuitable. Similarly, the candidate can terminate the contract with a one-month notice.
Any misconduct, including unlawful activities, breach of confidentiality, or misconduct during the contract, will lead to immediate termination and possible legal action.
Remuneration and Benefits
The salary will include the basic pay as per the IDA pay scale, along with Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), Provident Fund (PF), cafeteria allowance, and other perks as per corporate policy.
