Eligibility Criteria

Young Professional-I (YP-I)

Essential Qualifications:

  • B.Sc. in Agriculture (Ag.) with specialization in Soil Science, Agronomy, or Agricultural Microbiology.
  • Alternatively, B.Sc. degrees in Botany, Microbiology, Environmental Science, Biotechnology, or Chemistry.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Experience in soil, plant, and water analysis in laboratory and field settings.
  • Ability to prepare scientific and technical reports or research papers.

Agricultural Field Operator (AFO)

Essential Qualifications:

  • Matriculation with +2 Vocational qualification in Agriculture-related subjects.
  • OR Matriculation with two years of relevant work experience in agricultural fieldwork from reputed organizations.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Experience with farm machinery and equipment such as power tillers, grass cutters, seed drills, threshing machines, and water circulation pumps.

The positions are purely temporary and are tied to the duration of the ongoing scheme/project. Appointment will be terminated upon completion of the project or expiry of the scheme, with no right to permanent absorption in ICAR CRRI. Age relaxations are applicable as per Government of India norms for reserved categories.

The Director, ICAR-CRRI, reserves the right to modify the number of posts or cancel the recruitment process at any stage without assigning any reason. All decisions of the competent authority will be final.

Candidates appearing for the interview should not expect any TA/DA reimbursement. Canvassing in any form will lead to disqualification. Candidates currently employed must submit a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their employer.

Candidates must appear in person with original documents (educational certificates from matriculation onward and experience certificates), along with a recent passport-sized photograph.
