Eligibility Criteria
Essential Qualifications
The candidate must possess one of the following qualifications:
- First Class B.Tech degree in Civil Engineering with valid GATE qualification.
- M.E./M.Tech degree in Civil Engineering with First Class at both graduate and postgraduate levels from a recognized university or equivalent.
Desired Experience and Skills
Applicants should demonstrate the following experience and skills to enhance their candidature:
- Working knowledge in interdisciplinary fields of civil & infrastructure engineering, including but not limited to:
- Innovative pavement materials such as asphalt-rubber, polymers, fibers, etc.
- Advanced materials characterization techniques such as asphalt binder rheology, FTIR, XRD, SEM, DSC, etc.
- Roadway construction and quality control.
- Vehicle-pavement interaction analysis.
- Pavement condition assessment and evaluation.
- Numerical modeling and analysis related to infrastructure engineering.
- Willingness to work efficiently within a team environment and exhibit self-motivation under varied research conditions.
- Experience in mentoring undergraduate and postgraduate students.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Critical thinking, innovative attitude, research planning, troubleshooting, and development of scientific hypotheses.
- Commitment to achieving results, high work ethics, and organizational skills.
- Willingness to travel for site visits and roadway construction activities.
Salary and Compensation
The selected candidate will receive a consolidated monthly stipend of ₹37,000, which is competitive and commensurate with research roles in premier research institutes in India.
Age Limit and Relaxation

Selection Process
