Eligibility Criteria for Applicants

Educational Qualifications

Candidates must possess the following qualifications depending on the post:

  • Homoeopathy: Bachelor of Homoeopathic Medicine and Surgery (BHMS) from an institution recognized under the HCC Act, 1973, with a compulsory internship of one year after passing the final examination. Valid registration from the Central or State Homoeopathy Council is mandatory.
  • Ayurveda: BAMS or an equivalent degree from a recognized Ayurvedic Medical Institution, with a one-year compulsory internship after passing the degree. Valid registration from the Central or State Ayurvedic Medical Council is required.

Desirable Qualifications

Knowledge of local languages such as Bengali or Kokborok is considered advantageous and may increase the chances of selection.
