Eligibility Criteria
Candidates applying for the above-mentioned positions must meet the following eligibility standards:
- Postgraduate degree in the relevant subject area of the online programme with a minimum of 55% marks.
- NET qualification or Ph.D. degree as per UGC ODL/OL Regulation 2020.
- Degree obtained from universities/institutions outside Kerala should be accompanied by an equivalency/eligibility certificate issued by Mahatma Gandhi University.
- Applicants under community reservation quota must submit the community certificate and Non-Creamy Layer Certificate issued by the competent authorities.
- Applicants belonging to Differently Abled Category or EWS reservation should enclose the relevant certificate as per State Government criteria.
- Non-Creamy Layer Certificates are not required for applicants belonging to SC and ST categories.
- Applicants from states other than Kerala are not eligible if applying under community reservation quotas.
Remuneration and Age Relaxation
The selected candidates will receive a consolidated monthly salary of ₹40,000. The maximum age limit for candidates is 50 years as of 01.01.2026, with relaxation permissible for eligible categories as per the prevailing rules and regulations.

Selection Process
The selection of candidates will be based solely on a walk-in interview held in the Vice Chancellor’s Chamber at the scheduled date and time. Candidates must bring all requisite original documents, certificates, and a duly filled proforma as per the instructions issued in the official notification.
General Instructions / Guidelines
- The engagement is purely contractual for a period of one year. The appointment does not confer any permanent right or preference for future employment.
- Selected candidates shall execute an agreement with Mahatma Gandhi University under the existing norms and policies.
