Eligibility Criteria
Essential Qualification
Research Associate-I (RA-I):
– Ph.D. in Electronics Engineering or an equivalent degree; OR
– Alternatively, having at least 3 years of research, teaching, and design & development experience after M.E./M.Tech in fields such as VLSI Design, Microelectronics, Electronics & Communication, or equivalent. The candidate must have at least one research paper published in a Science Citation Indexed (SCI) journal.
Project Associate-I (PA-I):
– M.E. / M.Tech in VLSI Design, Microelectronics, Microelectronics & VLSI Design, Electronics & Communication, or equivalent.
– All qualified degrees should have a minimum aggregate of First Class / CGPA of 6.5 (on a 10-point scale or equivalent).
Desired Skills and Experience
- FPGA design and development, VHDL/Verilog programming;
- Experience with software tools such as Xilinx Vivado, MATLAB, C/C++, Python;
- Knowledge of GNSS receiver systems, signal processing, embedded computing, and communication systems;
- Candidates possessing relevant experience in these areas will be preferred.

Selection Process

General Instructions and Conditions
- This appointment is purely contractual for an initial period of one year, which may be extended up to the project duration (up to 3 years or until project completion), based on performance.
- Extension beyond the initial period will be subject to satisfactory performance and continuation of the project.
- No TA/DA will be provided for interview attendance or at the time of joining.
- Employees working in other institutions or organizations must produce a No-Objection Certificate (NOC) at the time of interview.

- Selected candidates may be permitted to enroll in the Ph.D. program at SVNIT, provided they meet eligibility criteria.
