### Essential Qualifications

## Job Description & Key Responsibilities

### Primary Responsibilities

The Junior Research Fellow will be involved in the following activities as part of the project:

Field and Laboratory Analysis

  • Conducting rock characterization and analysis in the Dum Dum Parai area.
  • Performing slope stability assessments and creating spatial maps.
  • Collecting field data and samples for laboratory analysis.

GIS and Remote Sensing Tasks

  • Developing GIS-based maps and performing spatial analysis.
  • Interpreting remote sensing data for geological applications.

Data Modeling & Analysis

  • Utilizing machine learning techniques to develop predictive models.
  • Analyzing and interpreting large datasets related to geology and geotechnical parameters.
  • Writing detailed reports and scientific documentation based on findings.

Research & Collaboration

  • Reviewing scientific literature and supporting ongoing research activities.
  • Collaborating with team members and participating in academic discussions.
  • Assisting in preparing research publications and presentations.
