Eligibility Criteria
Essential Qualifications
Applicants must possess a qualification of M.Tech./M.E./M.Sc. or equivalent in relevant areas or the proposed area of the project. Preference will be given to candidates qualified through GATE. Additionally, candidates with a science background must have a NET or equivalent qualification.
Desirable Qualifications
Candidates with strong practical experience in Machine Learning and Image/Signal Processing will be preferred. Such experience will enhance the candidate’s suitability for the position.
Salary and Stipend
The selected candidate will receive a monthly stipend of Rs. 37,000/- along with options for campus accommodation or House Rent Allowance (HRA) at 18% of the stipend.

Selection Process
Applicants who have qualified through GATE will be directly called for an interview. Non-GATE candidates must appear for and clear a written test to be eligible for the interview. The written test and interview will be conducted offline at the ECE Discipline, PDPM-IIITDM Jabalpur on 10 February 2026.

- Duration of the Position: Initially for six months, extendable based on performance and project requirements.
- Ph.D. Opportunity: Selected JRF candidates will have the opportunity to register for a regular Ph.D. program at IIITDM Jabalpur as per the institute norms.
