About HPSCB
Himachal Pradesh State Electricity Board Limited (HSEPBL) is a state-owned company. It was established on 1 September 1971 in accordance with the provisions of the Electricity Supply Act of 1948 and reorganized as HPSEB. It is responsible for the continuous supply of high-quality electricity to the state’s consumers. The electricity grid is distributed throughout the state of Himachal. The Board of Directors was constituted in 1971 and reorganized in 2010 under the Companies Act of 1956. Since its inception, the Board of Directors has made great progress in implementing the objectives entrusted to the Board of Directors of the State Electricity Council.
