Bihar Technical Service Commission has been constituted by the State Government vide Bihar Act-13, 2014 dated 21.08.2014 to send recommendations for appointment to technical posts in various departments/regional offices of the state of Bihar. Through the said Act, a total of 109 technical posts (Group ‘B’ and ‘C’ in various regional offices of the State Government having grade pay less than 4800 / grade pay as included in the schedule of the Act of the Commission or as revised from time to time. ‘ can recommend selection for appointment to technical services/cadres / posts.) have been identified, For which recommendation is to be made by the Bihar Technical Service Commission for recruitment in the light of vacancy from time to time in the light of the provisions contained in the departmental manual. Under the Act, provision has been made for the chairman and 5 (five) members in the commission.
